Outdoor Movie Night

Outdoor Movie Night on March 18 | Showing Encanto!

Woodburn is bringing back Screen on the Green just in time for Spring.  Join us for concessions and a 7:15 showing of Encanto. Concessions will start at 6:30. This is a family night and all children must be accompanied by a parent during the entire event. The movie will be shown with Spanish Subtitles. Buy your family ticket here.

Oh what a night!  It was so great to see our community together again for our first in-person PTA event–Screen on the Green at Woodburn!  Thanks to everyone for coming.  And thanks to all the volunteers who helped out to make the event a success: Sarah Green, Rebecca Leach, Katherine Kraft, Laura Lawal, Bill Komiss, Steve Gorbos, April Rosenthal, Katie Brophy, Jenny Boeder, Matt Levi, Greg Garman, and Natalie Fienberg.  Shout out to the front office staff for collecting forms and to Ms. Richman for always being there to lend a helping hand!

We had such a great time we plan to do it again in the Spring, only this time with more snacks, lots more pizza, and a bigger screen.  Help us choose the movie by submitting your suggestions here.

If you had fun at movie night, please support the PTA by becoming a member.  Check out our calendar of events and join us for our next PTA meeting on November 18.  You can also make a tax-deductible contribution to our Wildcat Direct Donation Campaign.  Your donation goes to supporting field trips, teacher classroom events, and helps off-set costs of community events, like movie night.

This year we are taking movie night outdoors and making it a family event.  Mark October 22nd on your calendar. Pizza and popcorn will be for sale starting at 6:00 and the movie starts at 6:45. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on and wear a costume.  All children must be accompanied by a parent during the entire event.  The movie will be shown with subtitles in Spanish.  You can buy your family ticket here. We are showing Coco!
