Thanksgiving is a day for giving thanks, and now a there is global day for giving back. On Tuesday, November 29th, 2016, GIVING TUESDAY, give your child a gift that lasts a lifetime – a tax-deductible donation to the Woodburn PTA.
From field trips and our Kennedy Center partnership, to technology and arts programs, Woodburn PTA supports programs and initiatives our children don’t get through federal, state or local government funding. But to keep it going, we need your help. Your support is more than a gift; it’s an investment in your child’s future.
This year, the PTA committed to providing document cameras to all Woodburn classroom teachers. Document cameras allow teachers to project almost anything on to a screen to help children learn. Woodburn teachers listed document cameras as their top choice for improving classroom technology. We are providing 11 cameras at $3,010 out of existing PTA funds, and we need YOUR HELP to provide the rest!
